Travel north along the winding Perthshire
road that leads to Glenshee and before long, away to the east,
backed by the gentle hills at the foot of the glen, you will
see a white house. Cross the stone bridge, enter the iron gates,
continue up the drive and you have arrived at Cray House,
the perfect family retreat. Overlooking a small loch, and bounded
on one side by the salmon rich river Shee, this 18th Century
house has been the Gammell family holiday home for generations.
Cray is perfect for family get togethers, groups of friends,
special occasions or even a business retreat. The house sleeps
eighteen in a variety of double and single bedded rooms over
three floors. There are also cots for babies. (Parents might
be pleased to know that in such a big house, finding a quiet
corner to read a book whilst a generous spouse entertains the
junior guests, is no problem!).
