Cray is perfect for family get-togethers, groups of friends, special occasions or even a business retreat.

Cray House, set in idyllic rural highland Perthshire and built in Georgian times as a stately shooting lodge, retains many of its original features with open log fires, spacious reception rooms and bedrooms as well as beautiful grounds. Cray House lends itself brilliantly to many different functions: holidays with family or friends, corporate breaks, weddings or celebrations. Choosing to stay at Cray will mean you have the entire house and grounds to yourselves.

Refurbishments have been carried out over the last few years, providing a modern spacious kitchen, stylish bathrooms throughout and freshly decorated and furnished reception rooms. The house is equipped with a biomass boiler giving superb warmth whatever the Scottish weather brings, and masses of hot water.

The one hundred acres of estate grounds provide large private lawns including a putting area, a children’s play park and your very own trout loch with rowing boat. Salmon fishing is also available on the River Shee, right on your doorstep.

Nestled amongst the foothills of Glenshee, on the edge of the Cairngorms National Park, Cray House is perfectly located for exploring the mountains. Just moments from the estate, Mount Blair and the Angus Glens also offer spectacular scenery without having to venture far. The estate grounds themselves make for a very pleasant stroll too for those wanting to catch a glimpse of the local red squirrels, birds and deer. See our activities page for a whole host of pursuits available in the area.

We very much look forward to welcoming you to Cray House.
